When I first saw Slow Fade at Kent and Amy's I loved him, then when I found out how he was bred, I had to have him. It took $20,000 to own this line bred Spud that comes from 3 generations of brother sister matings. Now we are all aware of the problems that a high percentage of Yorkshires possess in their top line..... Not Slow Fade!!!!! Slow Fade is wide, square, and uniform from his blades all the way to his pins and is as muscular and full in his hip loin junction as any that I have ever seen. Another great attribute he brings forth is his feature. He has a perfectly stout skull, big clean bone, square feet and thick toes. We are confident Slow Fade will make tremendous pures when mated to good Yorkshire sows. Although time will tell, we think his claim to fame will be making blues that win shows and awesome blue replacements when mated to elite belted sows.
